Coller International Partners V (CIP V)
In 2007, Coller Capital closed the world’s largest secondaries fund, Coller International Partners V, with capital commitments of $4.8 billion and participation from 200 of the world’s leading institutional investors.
The fund, like its predecessors, is advised by a truly multinational team with a global reach. As of December 2009, it was already around two thirds invested.
CIP V’s key investments to date include: a $1 billion JV with Royal Dutch Shell; the acquisition of a significant part of 3i’s European venture portfolio; ground-breaking investments in India and China; and an innovative participation in a rights issue by the quoted vehicle SVG Capital.
